This lexicon is a short extract from our handbook Al-Manhaj – written Arabic for beginners. It is conceived as follows : Letter ج means جمع and indicates a plural (- pl – in the transcription). The verbs are given according to their use in the Arabic language; in perfective and imperfective modes. The transcription is given for both modes, but also singular-plural (pl) if necessary. This transcription is only indicative, the international phonetic characters with diacritics cannot be codified on the Web. Prefer direct listening to the Sound heading (MP3 shockwave files) – An exclusiveness from DILAP.
